Mackay Regional Council are currently seeking two Project Managers to join the dynamic Capital Works Directorate on a permanent basis. About this opportunity: The Project Manager is accountable for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects, ensuring these are delivered to agreed criteria and commercially competitive standards for safety, cost management, timeliness, quality and environmental compliance, scope and customer satisfaction consistent with Council strategy, commitments and goals. This position will manage and deliver medium to large scale projects with a project duration of one or more years that provide cost effective solutions in line with customer and stakeholder requirements and expectations. The Project Manager will manage and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers and contracting companies, ensuring contractor’s working on behalf of Mackay Regional Council comply fully with all contractual compliance obligations and requirements to deliver Council's Contracted works effectively and efficiently.
