Council has an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a driven and passionate Service Manager Healthy Engaged Communities who, primarily, will be responsible for providing high-level leadership and strategic direction in community services.
Warrnambool City Council aims to build strong communities through the delivery of quality services that connect people and make a difference to the health and wellbeing of our community. This is a key leadership role in delivering strategic and operational advice on the following community areas including:
- Volunteerism
- Social Connection
- Diversity & Inclusion
- Archie Graham Community Centre
- Health Promoting programs
The successful applicant will have a demonstrated understanding and commitment to the philosophy and principles of client-centred service delivery, partnership development and facility management. Well-developed people management skills leading a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high quality results is highly regarded.
