Senior Project Officer - Building Planning and Design


The Property Services unit is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Building Planning and Design to join their supportive and collaborative team. You will project manage a range of building related projects with an emphasis on feasibility, project planning, design, stakeholder engagement and contract management, ensuring the delivery of projects is on time, within budget and in line with Council Plan objectives.

To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience in managing community building construction projects with demonstrated ability to interact, consult and collaborate with the community, management, staff and contractors. Strong financial management skills, with proven knowledge of budget control, accounting and financial procedures relating to building projects is essential for this role.

If you hold a Degree or Diploma qualification with several years of subsequent relevant experience in the building industry, Project Management, or similar discipline, or higher formal qualifications either in Project Management, or in Management, or lesser formal qualifications with extensive relevant experience, welcome your application.

A satisfactory police records check and evidence of COVID-19 vaccination status is required for this position.
