Water Operations Engineer - Fixed Term

The Role

Join Council’s Water Operations business unit in this graduate-level role where you will assist with the operational management and project delivery in water and wastewater. Key projects that the Water Operations unit are currently working on are the:

• Design and upgrade of the water treatment plant in Marulan;
• Design and construction of a wastewater treatment plant in Marulan; and
• Design and construction of a reuse scheme in Goulburn.

This is a temporary maternity relief position for a period of approximately 12 months, commencing in March 2022, dependent upon the current incumbent’s return to work plan.

To be successful you will bring:

• A Bachelor of Engineering (Environmental/Civil/Mechanical/Chemical), or an equivalent qualification;
• Sound interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; and
• A highly self-motivated attitude with excellent work ethic.

The Rewards

• Commencing salary between $1,421.50- $1,600.10 per week, plus 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance and 10% superannuation
