The Role Reporting to one of three Statutory Planning Coordinators, this position forms a key part of the Statutory Planning Team. As a senior member of the team, the Principal Statutory Planner is required to act as a leader within the unit, provide specialist advice to internal and external stakeholders and make recommendations in response to more complex proposals and applications. This position will require ongoing interaction with community groups and professionals within the development industry, as well as continued relationship building with internal departments, external authorities and other agency stakeholders. About You To be considered for this exciting opportunity, the City of Ballarat is seeking a town planning professional with demonstrated technical experience, leadership and motivational skills and well- developed interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise and clearly communicate with community groups and professionals alike.
