About the Role

Based at the Carinya Aged Care Facility, in Miles, you will provide holistic, safe, effective and quality care to residents.

Reporting to the Clinical Coordinator, you will:

• provide quality care to residents with activities of daily living, hygiene, dressing, grooming, mobility as required;
• assist with cleaning duties in the laundry; and
• assist with food-preparation, serving and hygiene in the kitchen.

About you

To be a successful applicant, you will have:

• a Certificate III in Aged Care or similar;
• a NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card);
• current COVID-19 vaccination in line with Residential Aged Care Directions;
• a dedication towards delivering high quality service in residential care, meal handling, cleanliness and cleaning;
• compassion, empathy, patience and respect for residents, colleagues and visitors;
• an acceptable standard of verbal and written communication skills, and basic computer skills; and
• strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
