The Role

The primary responsibility of the Library Officer is to provide effective and professional library and information service to the community of Port Hedland. You will be working between both the Port Hedland and South Hedland libraries.

Work Related Requirements

The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:

  • Well-developed communication skills
  • Demonstrated customer service experience with the ability use your initiative to resolve customer queries
  • National Police Clearance
  • Working with Children Check
  • Rights to work in Australia
