This opportunity exists for an enthusiastic person with a passion for workplace safety to join our team. This position will coordinate the Shire’s WH&S Management Plans to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and codes of practise. You will also identify all aspects of professional staff development, including sourcing quality training providers and oversee Council’s training programs. A Driver’s Licence and White Card is essential. Ideally the successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in training and WH&S matters, local government knowledge preferred with qualifications in Work, Health & Safety or equivalent. This position would be suitable for those with extensive practical experience.
