Warrnambool City Council has an infrastructure asset portfolio in excess of $770M which provide a range of services to the community and Council.
The Assets and Development Unit are now seeking a Coordinator who will utilise asset management and spatial systems to make informed decisions for use by management, the organisation and external stakeholder enquiries.
This is a great opportunity for the right person to build their own team and provide strategic input into capital investment within Warrnambool.
The main functions of this position are:
- Develop implement and maintain asset management policy, strategy, plans and system.
- Manage Council assets portfolio to service levels documented in Council’s asset management plans.
- To manage and lead the asset management unit and be the primary source of specialist strategic advice in assets management for council.
- Ensure that technical advice provided by the unit to other Council areas and to the public is accurate, timely and appropriate.
