About the opportunity Blacktown City Council owns and operates a childcare business, Kids’ Early Learning, with a portfolio of 26 child care centres and over 70 family day care educators. Kids’ Early Learning has approximately 300 full-time, part-time and casual staff and operates throughout the Blacktown local government area, serving over 1700 families and providing care and learning needs for their children. We are looking to fill a variety of Casual Child Care Aide positions across all centres. This position is responsible for planning and implementing a programme of developmentally appropriate activities, and maintaining a high standard of care for the group of children assigned, in consultation with the Director and other staff and to Act in accordance with the New South Wales Work Health Safety Act 2011, Work Health Safety Regulation 2017 and the Work Health and Safety (WHS) Management System. Remuneration & Benefits The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
This position has been identified as child related work, in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Regulation 2013.
