Children’s Services Casual Employment

We are seeking dynamic and enthusiastic learners who are excited about working in Early Childhood  Education and Care.

We currently have exciting opportunities for people to join our Childcare team on casual basis. These  positions are for non-trained applicants currently enrolled in the Certificate III through to Early Childhood Teachers. We are looking for people willing to fill in at all of our services, from Adjungbilly in the north to Khancoban in the South.

We are looking for people who are:

Snowy Valleys Council offers a range of Child Care and Education services in the region including LongDay and After-School care in Tumbarumba, a Preschool in Khancoban, and a mobile service called Puggles that brings early childhood education to remote communities.

As a childcare casual at Snowy Valleys Council you will learn all facets of caring for children from birth to 5 years by working through our different services. You will care for infants in our nursery room, plan and  implement a preschool program, facilitate an After-School Care facility and work in a mobile service.

SALARY

Salary will be paid in accordance with Local Government (State) Award 2020 and the Snowy Valleys  Council’s salary system.
