A fantastic opportunity exists for a five (5) year fixed-term full time Manager Infrastructure Parks & Recreation to join Isaac Regional Council's Engineering & Infrastructure (E&I) Directorate, based within the Isaac Region.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Director Engineering and Infrastructure, the Manager Infrastructure Parks & Recreation is the custodian of Council’s roads, drainage and park infrastructure.  The Manager is responsible for the operational management of the roads, drainage & parks capital and operational programs, and is responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership of these programs.

ABOUT YOU

  • 10 years demonstrated senior management experience in leading & developing teams, preferably within Local Government;
  • Proven experience providing technical, operational and management advice;
  • Significant demonstrated experience in program management;
  • Demonstrated ability to provide strategic leadership and identifying & delivering community and customer needs;
  • Solid understanding of key legislation and associated regulations relevant to roads, drainage, parks, recreation, construction and maintenance operations;
  • Tertiary qualifications in an Engineering discipline or significant demonstrated experience in a similar role;
  • RPEQ Accreditation desirable.
