We are seeking to appoint suitably qualified and experienced gardener who is keen to make a significant contribution to our parks, gardens and streetscapes.  Council is seeking a team player with a ‘can do’ attitude who is customer focused and demonstrate initiative and drive.

This role is required to undertake garden development and maintenance to ensure that the appearance of public areas continues to be maintained to a high standard.  You will need to hold a Certificate III in Horticulture and have demonstrated experience in amenity horticulture involving the development and maintenance of garden beds, playgrounds, turf areas and irrigation systems.  

Excellent communication skills, the ability to work with limited supervision. Experience in the operation of vehicles, mechanical, plant and specialised horticulture equipment is required together with a current driver licence are essential, Medium Rigid desirable. Council requires all staff to demonstrate a commitment to safe work practices and procedures.
