Events Advisor
Things We’ll Trust You With:
- Facilitate and partner in programs and events that educate and support the community.
- Ensure Council’s civic and ceremonial obligations and responsibilities are met for all key civic events, identifying and implementing Federal, State and Local Government protocols and procedures.
- Ensure timely and professional planning of events.
- Strengthen Council’s engagement with creative industries, business, community and educational stakeholders.
Things You’ll Do:
- Project manage and coordinate cultural, civic, community events and celebrations.
- Lead and manage event delivery teams of performers, infrastructure, volunteers and event staff in the provision of an active and high standard program.
- Provide expert advice and support for delivery of events across Council.
- Identify new opportunities for event programs that will educate and enrich cultural experiences in the community.
- Actively contribute to the achievement of goals, improvements and helping to ensure the safety and well being of the team and attendees.

The Fine Print:

- Package: $82,594 gross p.a. plus superannuation
- Hours of work: Permanent full time opportunity - Working 35 hours per week, option of 19 day month flex-time arrangement. May be required to work additional hours, occasional evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
