Are you an experienced SAP payroll specialist who loves working on large scale projects and is seeking an exciting new challenge? We currently have a unique opportunity for a driven individual to work with the payroll and payroll project team to further enhance and modernise Canterbury Bankstown Councils payroll function This role will see you work with internal and external key stakeholders to develop and implement multiple systems changes within our payroll processes as we further modernise and digitise our payroll function. Reporting to the Coordinator Payroll and Talent Management, you will work closely with the team and will be the payroll and payroll process compliance subject matter expert in Council. You will also be responsible for ensuring payroll practices are compliant with ATO, Superannuation, award, and legislation requirements. This is a Temporary Full Time contract position up to May 2022. The salary range for this opportunity commences at $101,511 (Grade I, Step 1) + 10% super. You will be required to develop policy and procedures in managing operations which include key areas such as:
