A position of Ranger has become available in the Planning, Building & Health Department.
The primary purpose of the position is to: Ensure compliance with relevant provisions of various Acts including The Local Government Act 1993, the Companion Animals Act, the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, the Rural Fires Act, the Roads Act, the Protection of the Environment Operations Act, and the Impounding Act. The applicant will hold a TAFE Certificate of Trade (or equivalent) with at least 2 years’ experience, a Cert IV in Regulatory Services and a Class C drivers’ licence are essential. Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award. Prior to commencement the successful applicant will be required to undergo “Drug and Alcohol” screening a “Criminal History Check” and “Functional Assessment”. It is also a requirement, on commencement, to provide evidence of being fully Covid 19 vaccinated.
