Rates Administration Officer - Revenue


An exciting opportunity exists within the Financial Strategy unit for a Rates Administration Officer – Revenue to join their team. As the successful candidate you will maintain the Accounts Receivable system, ensuring it is current, accurate and that all invoices and statements are prepared in an effective and efficient manner. You will also provide effective and efficient administrative support in the area of Rates and Property Information.

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience in a revenue or accounts receivable position with a good knowledge of accounting principles, procedures and processes. You will have experience using a complex enterprise debtors or accounts system and the ability to learn and adapt to new software programs quickly. Proficiency in spread sheeting, database and word processing as well as general administrative tasks are essential for this role.

If you hold a certificate, qualification or knowledge and skills in accounts receivable gained through on-the-job training commensurate with the requirements of the position, we welcome your application.
