This role is responsible for driving key economic projects that have an emphasis on creative and proactive investment facilitation that supports jobs growth and prioritises partnerships to unlock new public and private sector investment opportunities. .  

This role will also be responsible for providing support and input to the Economic Development Strategy and advocacy and delivery of Council's capital works plan as it relates to Economic Development, including town centre street space upgrades. 

To be successful in this role you will be tertiary qualified with a background in supporting businesses and engaging with communities.
