About the Role

The ideal candidate will act as the face of Council to the general public assisting Senior Operations Technicians and Team Leaders to deliver essential maintenance services in line with Council’s service levels and guarantees.

Responsibilities of the Role

You will work day-to-day as part of a small crew to conduct a wide range of activities and to ensure that all allocated work and/or programs are met. Duties will involve;

  • Maintaining preservation of Council’s parks, trees, open space and related assets
  • Carrying out works in response to the effects of extreme weather conditions, storms and natural disasters
  • Delivering essential services across Council including but not limited to - arboriculture, horticulture, turf maintenance, landscaping and traffic management activities 

About You

We are looking for someone who has;

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge within relevant field
  • A positive “can do” attitude with attention to detail and focus on customer service
  • Current Class C Driver’s Licence as a minimum
  • A SafeWork NSW white card (general construction induction card)
  • A proven “safety first” approach to all work undertaken
