Business Improvement Lead
Sutherland Shire Council is embarking on an organisational transformation program, centred around the implementation of a new Software-as-a-Service enterprise resource platform. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in that journey and bring the vision to reality.
Things We’ll Trust You With:
- Leading the business improvement element of the Software-as-a-Service solution implementation project.
- Acting as a process improvement champion to the business to drive transformation, deliver significant process improvements, and support the successful achievement of the program objectives.
Things You’ll Do:
- Coordinate the configuration design and configuration implementation stages, working in partnership with the Vendor and SSC User Implementation Team, to ensure the solution meets Council’s business needs.
- Champion the program vision and foster a collaborate yet decisive approach to the delivery of Program objectives and benefits.
- Provide leadership and coaching to the Business Improvement Team, by creating an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort.
- Share the principles and tools of effective business improvement to your stakeholders to raise collective understandings and promote data-drive decision making.
- Be a process leader, challenging the status quo and implementing best practice processes.

- Salary: $99,000 - $112,000 gross per annum plus 10% superannuation
- Hours of work: Temporary Full Time 35 hours per week with option of a 19 day month (flexitime arrangment) This role is expected to be available for up to 3 years.
