About the role

 Do you want a planning role with real influence in one of Australia's most beautiful and dynamic places? The Clarence Valley Council is looking for a new Coordinator for our Strategic Planning Team. The successful applicant will play a crucial role by providing a progressive, creative and targeted strategic planning vision to set up the Clarence Valley for a prosperous and sustainable future. You will have experience in leading a team to prepare strategic planning policies, creating a robust planning frameworks and managing important functions around Native Title and public land. The role will focus on delivery of prioritised strategic planning projects that have a foundation in best-practice, including adopting a collaborative and consultative approach across our diverse community, with our industry and government stakeholders, and across the Clarence Valley Council's internal departments. This is a highly sought after position and in very popular part of the Northern Rivers, and has only become available due to retirement. Get your application in now and put your best foot forward!
