About the OpportunityParkes Shire Council is looking for a Senior Grants Officer and a Grants Officer to join our team. These roles are fundamental to the future development of Parkes Shire. Grants allow Council to fast-track major infrastructure projects and assist community groups in realising their dream projects! These valued projects add to the fabric and vibrancy of the community. As a Grants Officer you get to watch these projects develop from inception to completion - a very satisfying job! Council is seeking two driven/fast-paced community minded people with highly developed communication and writing skills, who are able to multi task and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders including funding bodies and community groups. No day is ever the same in the Parkes Grants team, and over the last five years the Grants team has been responsible for securing over $64 million in funding!
