Senior Lifeguards - Splash Palace

Permanent Full-time

Enjoy fun and fitness? Come and join Splash Palace, where it's summer all year round!

We have an amazing poolside team full of fun, vibrant, dynamic individuals - and we want you to be one of them!

We have two full-time opportunities for Senior Lifeguards to work with our poolside Supervisors and play a key part in making sure Splash Palace is a fun and safe environment for everyone. Hours are 40 hours per week on a four-week rotating roster, which will include evenings, weekends and public holidays.

So, what do you need to get your foot in the door? Safety is our priority, so you will need to have (or be able to obtain within two weeks of starting) a National Lifeguard Award (Level 3) and First Aid Certificate. If you have experience in lifeguarding and supervising staff, that's even better! You bring your people skills, awesome attitude and ability to work with a diverse range of people, and we'll provide a great environment for you to work in, plus all the support and development opportunities you'll need to go far in this career path!

At Invercargill City Council we pride ourselves on our values - positivity, respect, responsibility and above and beyond. Finding the right fit for our team is really important to us and we work hard to provide an environment reflective of these values.

Join a team that really cares about you and have a role where no two days are the same. We pride ourselves on having a supportive system for you to grow and learn while enjoying a healthy work-life balance, and we have a great team culture for you to be a part of.

Take the plunge and join our team now!
