About the Role

Based at the Tarcoola Aged Care Facility, in Tara, you will provide holistic, safe, effective and quality care and services to residents, responding to their varied needs with empathy and respect.

Reporting to the Clinical Coordinator, you will:

  • Provide quality care to residents with activities of daily living, hygiene, dressing, grooming, mobility as required;
  • Assist with cleaning duties in the laundry; and
  • Assist with food-preparation, serving and hygiene in the kitchen.

About you

To be a successful applicant, you will have:

  • a Certificate III in Community Services (Aged Care) OR be able to demonstrate equivalent related experience and be willing to complete the relevant Certificate;
  • a Yellow Card or the willingness to obtain prior to commencement;
  • a dedication towards delivering high quality service in residential care, meal handling, cleanliness and cleaning;
  • compassion, empathy, patience and respect for residents, colleagues and visitors;
  • an acceptable standard of verbal and written communication skills; and
  • strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
