Richmond Valley Council’s Northern Rivers Livestock Exchange (NRLX) has been redeveloped into a state-of-the-art agricultural and economic hub. We are proud to say the NRLX is the place to buy and sell cattle in Northern NSW. The entire complex has been redeveloped and refurbished inside and out. A new way of business is being carried out with online buying, digital selling and of course our locals’ favourite: face-to-face auctions. With your help we are now ready to make the NRLX the place to work in Northern NSW. We are looking for people to join our great team that has the combined ability to make the NRLX even better than it is, with an end goal of making Richmond Valley’s NRLX the local, national and even international buying and selling hub of NSW. We are looking for A team player who has a rural or agricultural background with understanding of modern practices and is dedicated to innovation and utilising technology. You like to have autonomy in your role and are a reliable go-getter willing to get the job done. You are flexible and adaptable to rapidly changing priorities and deadlines. You are committed to safety and are able to proactively provide input on safety issues and initiatives. We are a small team dedicated to customer service and providing outcomes for our stakeholders, you are able to build authentic relationships and communicate effectively with all stakeholders. The primary purpose of the role is to ensure the effective and efficient day to day operations of the Northern Rivers Livestock Exchange. Providing support for facilities and services congruent with the Premier livestock exchange for Northern NSW. Ensuring operations are carried out in accordance with legislative/statutory requirements and Council's policies, procedures and standards. This includes:
