Etheridge Shire Council is currently seeking a dedicated, motivated and enthusiastic Construction Supervisor to lead a team of experienced construction workers based in the Etheridge Shire. 

The Construction Supervisor will control the construction and maintenance of road and drainage works and related civil construction projects undertaken by Council’s Construction Crew, under the general direction of the Infrastructure Services Operations Manager. 

The Construction Supervisor will contribute to the efficient and productive delivery of Council’s operations by ensuring duties are carried out in a safe and competent manner. 

The successful applicant must hold a current ‘HR’ drivers licence; certificate III or IV in Civil Construction/Maintenance or equivalent with demonstrated competencies gained through structured training/experience, as well as substantial experience in the Civil Engineering Industry with particular emphasis on project delivery by a direct labour workforce, supplemented by sub-contractor resources. The successful applicant must also have a well-developed ability to work in and successfully lead, supervise, develop and motivate team/s of staff to achieve project outcomes, good verbal, written and numeric skills; computer literacy with Microsoft Office suite of programs and other software systems such as PCS and Reflect.
