The Role

This role is responsible for reviewing internal & external development applications to ensure compliance of the towns landscape policy. Guidelines & public open space strategy / specifications and quality standards. Management of the daily operations of the depot nursery, this role plays a key part in the development and growth of the nursery stick by providing a high quality of plant stock for the use in the Town’s public open space areas.

Work Related Requirements

The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:

• Tertiary qualification in Horticulture / Turf Management / Irrigation or relevant demonstrated experience
• Demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities and organise own & others time efficiently
• National Police Clearance
• Current ‘C’ class drivers licence
• Rights to work in Australia
