The Community and Public Arts Officer delivers the City’s arts and cultural initiatives through community development, engagement and outreach activities. The position is responsible for implementing initiatives outlined in the Public Art Strategy as well as maintaining relationships and progressing opportunities within the Geraldton Regional Art Gallery. This is a job share arrangement on a fixed term basis for a 12 months period ending 29 July 2022, working part-time (19 hours per week). Key accountabilities:

Position requirements: The successful applicant should hold a degree related to arts and culture and have experience in the development and delivery of community arts and cultural programs, and events. Completion of a pre-employment medical including alcohol and other substances testing is required of all positions at the City. Remuneration and benefits: A salary starting from $75,860 per annum or $38.3907 per hour will be offered dependent on knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications.
