Immunisation Nurse

Warrnambool currently has one of the highest childhood immunisation rates within Australia. Council conducts free Immunisations for infants and school aged children as listed on the National Immunisation Program Schedule. 

Council is currently recruiting for an appropriately qualified Immunisation Nurse (Registered Nurse, Division 1) to administer vaccines in accordance with Council’s Immunisation Program.

• Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) – Registered Nurse Division 1, Immunisation Accredited (as approved by the Department of Health, Victoria)
• Understanding of the National Immunisation Program and Immunisation Practice in Local Government
• Demonstrated experience administering vaccines in childhood & adolescent programs
• Well-developed interpersonal and time management skills
