Maternal and Child Health Nurse

THE ROLE

Maternal and Child Health nurse/s are required to work within the Universal and Enhanced Maternal and Child Health service across Moira Shire Council. An opportunity also exists to be part of our new Sleep and Settling program. We have 370 babies born each year and operate from 5 standalone centres across Council. Lactation Consultant and Nurse Immuniser qualifications desired but not essential.

Do you have the ability to work well within a flexible and innovative team and independently to promote health and wellbeing of families? Moira Shire offers Clinical Supervision to all nurses and the opportunity to be part of our monthly team meetings and graduate/new staff program to assist orientation to the role.

Applications welcome from graduates as well experienced nurses with Victorian Maternal and Child Health qualifications.

What we require:

• Victorian Maternal and Child Health Qualifications
• AHPRA registration in Division1 and Midwifery nursing
• Relevant experience in Maternal and Child Health (not essential)
• Working with Children Check
• Current drivers licence
