Full time, permanent position, flexible working arrangements available
St Kilda Town Hall Location or during COVID-19 Pandemic, with ELT/DHHS direction, this role is able to work from home.
About the Organisation
City of Port Phillip is an inner-city council with around 1000 employees who deliver more than 100 programs and services to our residents, businesses and visitors. These range from childcare and immunisations, to libraries, management of parks and open space, rubbish collection, road maintenance and more. About the Role
As an engaged member of the Strategic Transport Team you will work collaboratively across Council to manage Port Phillip’s car share network, implement shared micromobility and develop policy positions for new transport technologies. You will be responsible for ensuring these services meet the needs of our community and fulfil the outcomes in Council’s Move, Connect, Live Strategy 2018-28.
Duties:
Review and develop the Car Share Policy and manage the car share network
Collaborate across local government to develop and manage micromobility services
Develop new transport technology policy positions aligned to Council strategic aims
Support the delivery of projects and programs aligned to Move, Connect, Live Strategy
Skills and Experience
Experience administering performance based service contracts or delivery programs
Experience with site-specific community and stakeholder consultation
Experience developing policy based upon research, analysis and stakeholder engagement
A tertiary qualification or more than 3 years in transport, local government or a related field is desirable
