About the position:
The City is seeking a skilled Reserves General Hand - Mowing/Tractor Operations to maintain the City’s parks, ovals, reserves and other open spaces to a high standard.
This position is based at the City of Greater Geraldton Depot, and works a 9 day fortnight with 1 rostered day off every 2 weeks.
Key accountabilities:
Working within the Reserves team to maintain the City’s parks, ovals, reserves and other public open spaces to a high standard on a daily basis as directed, including turf renovation, fertilising, mowing, slashing and all facets of turf care;
General operation of plant and hand tools, carry out maintenance and/or labour duties as required;
Ensuring that regular routine daily maintenance is carried out and that relevant log books and pre-start are completed.

Position requirements:
The successful applicant must have previous experience with operating plant and tools associated with reserves maintenance, such as tractors or mowers.
Completion of a pre-employment medical including alcohol and other substances testing is required of all positions at the City.
Remuneration and benefits:
A salary starting from $58,280 per annum or $29.4941 per hour will be offered dependent on knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications.
