The Role

Are you a motivated, experienced Building Surveyor? Then we have the role for you!

Join Council’s Planning & Development business unit where we pride ourselves on our positive team culture and being “easy to do business with”.

To be successful you will bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in Building Surveying and registered at a minimum of building surveyor restricted (class 1 & 10 buildings) with Fair Trading NSW (formerly known as A3 accreditation under the BPB accreditation scheme);
• Sound knowledge of NSW planning legislation and the Building Code of Australia with demonstrated experience in assessing construction certificates, complying development certificates and occupation certificates for all classes of buildings; and
• Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to provide effective customer service.

• Commencing salary between $94,677 – $106,552 per annum, inclusive of 10% superannuation
