Are you an experienced labourer looking for an opportunity to work in a highly supportive team?

Central Highlands Regional Council is seeking an experienced and reliable Plant Operator to join their Parks and Gardens team based in Springsure.  In this role, you will be given the opportunity to use your existing skills and develop new skills whilst making a difference in your local community.

In this busy role, your daily activities will include:

  • Maintaining the parks and gardens in Duaringa and surrounds
  • Operating lawn mowers, whipper snippers, tractors, other plant equipment and hand tools
  • Carrying out physical activities to maintain the Parks and Gardens facilities

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess: 

  • Experience in a similar position carrying out physical tasks in all outdoor weather conditions
  • Sound written and oral communication skills
  • Positive customer service centric approach
  • Current Queensland C Class Drivers Licence
  • General Construction Induction Card
