Are you an energetic, organised and an efficient Executive Officer looking for a lifestyle change up?

The Shire of Menzies is seeking an Executive Officer to join their small team in Menzies, 730 kilometres east of Perth.

As the successful applicant you will be providing high level support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). A highly diverse position, you will be responsible for confidential executive support to the CEO; preparation of minutes and agendas and coordination of Council and Committee meetings;  management of projects and events; undertaking research and investigation on matters for the CEO; establishment and maintenance of efficient systems to support the administrative functions of the Shire.

To be successful you will possess demonstrated experience in a similar role along with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with the general public, especially in dealing with complex enquiries and complaints requiring a sensitive, flexible and effective response. You will also possess well developed research, analysis and writing skills and advanced Microsoft Office skills.

A sound knowledge of Local Government operations or statutory meeting procedures will be advantageous.
