About the Role

The City of Port Phillip is seeking and experienced civil design engineer/project manager to join the Civil Infrastructure team within the Project Services department. Work as part of a group of engineers and project managers to design and deliver civil infrastructure projects that will shape the future for the visitors and residents of the City of Port Phillip. Help design civil infrastructure including road reconstructions, local area traffic management projects, water sensitive urban design projects and drainage projects.

Skills and Experience 

  • A degree qualification in Civil Engineering (Bachelor of Engineering) or equivalent degree recognised by Engineers Australia. 
  • Experience in undertaking ‘hands-on’ design of civil infrastructure such as road reconstructions, local area traffic treatments, drainage systems and water sensitive urban design projects.
  • Experience in project management of civil infrastructure projects, including undertaking community consultation, procurement and construction supervision. 
  • Advanced proficiency in the use of AutoCAD Civil3D and Civil Site Design is required, as well as sound knowledge and experience in using MUSIC software.
