Council is seeking applications from highly motivated, performance-oriented people to fill this important role at Leeton Shire Council. The Primary Purpose of the Position is to:
The applicant will hold a Degree in Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 8-10years’ relevant experience and have demonstrated experience in Project Management, Contract Management and Asset Management. Strong interpersonal skills are essential as well as knowledge of water filtration operations and sewer treatment procedures, delivery and disposal as well as knowledge of trade waste obligations. Salary and conditions: The position is Grade 19 in Council’s salary system ($104,348.40 - $116,875.20 per annum plus superannuation and 3.5% civil liability allowance) depending upon qualifications and experience plus leaseback vehicle. Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award. The full-time position is 35 hours per week with a monthly Rostered Day Off. Prior to commencement the successful applicant will be required to undergo and successfully pass a “Drug and Alcohol” screening, “Medical Assessment” and “Criminal History Check”.
