Early Learning Coordinator - Kindergarten

Warrnambool City Council has been and continues to provide quality early childhood services for families within the Warrnambool and surrounding districts.

Council is currently seeking two highly motivated and diverse pre-school coordinators to lead the Preschool Unit, including providing management and support to all subordinates.   

The successful applicant will:

• Have a minimum two year qualification (Diploma of Children’s Services) or Bachelor of Early Childhood.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience working in early years services.
• Experience in educational leadership – including motivation and encouragement to staff.
• Current and up to date knowledge and understanding of Regulations, Law, National Quality Standards and Frameworks.
• Relevant accreditations including Current First Aid Level 2 (Asthma and Anaphylaxis), Working with Children Check or VIT

This role will generally have regular weekday shifts, but these will vary from time to time and may require after hours or weekend shift work on occasion.
