Work Type: Contract Location: Emerald Department: Infrastructure & Utilities Are you a strategic Utilities Manager looking for a new challenge? This leadership position is vital in delivering Council’s corporate plan and supporting our regional community. As an experienced Utilities Manager, you will have the autonomy to develop innovative, best practice strategic and operational plans that underpin Council’s objectives and service delivery commitments. In this role, you will guide and motivate a team of 50 staff across process treatment, sewerage and mechanical engineering disciplines. As a member of the leadership team, your expert advice and guidance will be heard and appreciated. To be successful, your ability to effectively collaborate with and positively influence internal and external stakeholders within our community is paramount. Formal qualifications in civil or mechanical engineering combined with working knowledge of local government from a management perspective will be highly regarded.
