The Parks section is responsible for the routine maintenance and minor improvements of Council’s parks and reserves across the Shire.  The work involves looking after playgrounds, sports fields, picnic facilities, public toilets and general park areas.

As the Parks Apprentice, you will work in various locations using a variety of hand tools, small machinery and larger plant items for example trimmers, blowers, ride on mowers, tractors and trucks.

This position is based from Moruya or Batemans Bay and provides an excellent opportunity to gain valuable on-the-job experience while you earn $s whilst obtaining a Certificate III Horticulture (Parks and Gardens).
