Parking Services Officer
Things We’ll Trust You With:
- Be a customer service specialist and a positive brand ambassador for the Sutherland Shire Council.
- Encourage, educate and regulate the sharing of parking space.
- Carry-out foot patrols for parking compliance and regulation on public streets and designated car parks in the local government area.
- Investigate illegal activities i.e. abandoned vehicles, motor vehicle littering, boat trailer complaints, motor vehicles ‘for sale’ and other related offences as authorised under the delegations provided for the position.
- Assist Council in the effective provision of regulation and enforcement through appropriate application of legislation, Council objectives, policies, adopted standards and work practices.

The Fine Print:

- Package: $60,000 - $68,500 gross p.a. (salary paid pro rata) plus superannuation.
- Hours of work: Permanent part-time opportunity - 17 hours per week, working Wednesday and Thursday for three weeks and Saturday and Sunday on the fourth week.
- Spread of work hours: 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, includes Public Holidays. Weekend penalty rates apply.
