Whether you are an experienced or graduate teacher, Liverpool City Council is seeking passionate and dedicated, Early Childhood Teachers to provide leadership in the design, implementation and evaluation of high-quality inquiry based educational curriculums for children attending our services.

Liverpool City Council owns and operates six Early Education and Care Centres and one Preschool across our LGA with plans in place to expand service delivery by 2023.

What does the right candidate need to possess?

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will have the capability to mentor and support educators in the delivery of educational curriculums, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and policies within the Early Childhood Education and Care environment.

It is essential that you are a degree qualified Early Childhood Teacher with NESA accreditation and have child protection training approved and recognised by ACECQA. A first aid certificate is also essential. In addition, you will have detailed knowledge of child development and contemporary theories/approaches to early childhood education and care.

Salary will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience and competencies of the successful applicant. As part of our recruitment process the successful applicant must meet our essential criteria.

These positions are 12 month maternity leave positions with the option of permanency. This position is subject to a working with children check and prohibited persons are not eligible to apply
