The City of Port Phillip is an inner-city council with around 1000 employees who deliver more than 100 programs and services to our residents, businesses and visitors. About the Role
This role is responsible for managing a dynamic public space asset portfolio including parks, sporting ovals, an iconic foreshore and streetscapes.
The Asset Portfolio Planner – Public Space will be required to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to set and maintain service level, develop and maintain future plans, Developments and budgets.
Duties:
Maintain Asset Management, Infrastructure Investment & Risk Plan and align Portfolio to Council Services and agreed service intervention levels
Understanding on Asset management trends, opportunities
Integrate the Public Space Strategy and Fishermans Bend Urban renewal plans into our asset management framework
Skills and Experience
Sound knowledge or experience in Local Government or similar Organisation mandated to delivery community value through effective asset management practices
Demonstrated strategic, planning, conceptual, analytical and change leadership skills with the proven ability to drive strategic outcomes, innovation, and efficiency in asset management
Strong understanding on legislation and regulations relevant to role
Evidentiary based proficiency in asset portfolio management (Public Space)
Mandatory Requirements
Tertiary Qualifications in Asset Management or Engineering
Victorian Driver Licence and VicRoads licence verification
Security requirements and professional obligations
