The Role
These roles contribute to the effective and efficient operation of the aquatic facilities and the maintenance of Water Park, which may include:
- Plan and deliver Learn to Swim lessons to achieve class outcomes, in line with AUSTSWIM and the Town Of Port Hedland’s standards
- Effectively manage varied behaviours of class participants
- Undertake assessments of class participants progress and provide regular feedback
- Deliver a high level of customer service and professionalism
- Provide emergency response and first aid
- Maintain the facility in a safe, clean, hygienic and presentable condition for all customers to enjoy

Work Related Requirements
The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:
- Austswim Certificate or equivalent ‘Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety’
- Current CPR qualification
- Flexible availability, as some early morning, midday and weekend shifts are required
- Current Working With Children
- National Police Clearance
- Rights to work in Australia
