The Community Development Specialist is a newly created position that is just waiting for a strategic minded professional who isn’t afraid to think outside the box to come in and show us what they are made of. 

Primarily this position plans, organises, leads and controls the strategic development plans for the Shire and the major towns. Developing long term strategic growth plans, aligning the plans with the Long Term Financial Plan, and developing the capital project plans to achieve successful outcomes. You will be responsible for increasing our tourism profile through the integration of strategies into our strategic plan, being successful in applying for grant funding will be integral to bringing these projects to life.
