• Full-time, fixed term
• Base Salary Package starting at $70,912
• Total Effective Package: $79,216.55 (inclusive of leave loading and superannuation)

MRC was established in 2008 and its area covers our 13 major remote communities as well as many outstations. MRC employs over 500 staff, 370 of whom are the local Aboriginal staff.

The Role:

Essential Service Officer is responsible for the maintenance of Power, Water and Sewerage infrastructure in accordance with the PowerWater Essential Service agreement.

Key Duties:

• Maintenance of all power generation, water and sewerage infrastructure
• Regular servicing of power generation units and maintenance of PowerWater infrastructure
• Maintain aircraft landing areas (ALA)
• Be part of an On-Call roster for emergency duties
• Maintain vehicles, tools, plant and equipment allocated to delivery of the service

Skills and Experience:

• Current C Class Driver Licence
• Current White Card
• Relevant plant and equipment tickets
• At least 6 months experience in a similar role
• Trade qualifications
• Working at Height Certification
