Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director Corporate Services will lead pivotal functions within the organisation, with the ability to have impact and influence across the entire Council. Forming an integral member of the Executive Leadership team, the role is responsible for providing strategic and trustworthy financial and corporate services advice to the Chief Executive Officer and Council while ensuring the internal business units including Finance, ICT, Business Improvement and Customer Experience maintain efficient management practices. Leading a high performing, highly regarded team of professionals, the Director will actively participate in strategic planning and organisational decision making to ensure delivery of cost effective quality services and advice. To be considered for this opportunity you will need be an innovative and progressive leader and with proven experience in the Local Government sector. You demonstrate strong community values, are politically astute and have exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and an ability to engage effectively with Executive peers and Councillors. You are highly regarded for your inspirational leadership and high standards of democratic governance and bring experience driving continuous improvement through effective strategies, systems and processes.
