This role is responsible for providing support and assistance to the teams within the Advocacy and Community Services Directorate as required while supporting the Director in the smooth running of the Division. This role will be required to undertake general secretarial duties including proactively responding to correspondence, telephone enquiries, and managing the Directors email, diary and meetings. The successful applicant would be expected to work with a strong customer service focus, providing a positive influence and presence for the whole Division.

To be successful in this role you will be flexible, enthusiastic and well organised with previous administration experience. You will have a positive and professional approach, with political awareness and the ability to build strong working relationships. You will be diplomatic and have outstanding interpersonal skills. You will also be able to manage a number of tasks simultaneously and you will have advanced experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.  

The successful applicant will be required to obtain an employee Working with Children Check prior to commencement. (This is now mandatory for ALL employees joining Council to meet Child Safe Standards of our Organisation)
