ABOUT THE POSITION

The Shire is seeking suitable applicants for the position of Onslow Cleaner. Reporting to the Facilities Officer Onslow and the Caravan Park Managers, this role is responsible for maintaining Onslow facilities including the Sun Chalets and Ocean View Caravan Park facilities and surrounds in a clean, tidy and well-maintained condition.

While the role is primarily focused on the Onslow Sun Chalets, particularly in the tourist season, the role will require flexibility to undertake alternate cleaning tasks across the Shire’s facilities as directed.

Our ideal candidate will be highly motivated and suitably experienced to join our team. The successful candidate will have high standards of work, an eye for detail and ability to work to a schedule safely and efficiently. 

This role is full time working 80 hours per fortnight however due to the nature of the role the successful candidate will be required to work a flexible roster to accommodate the operational needs of the role. Hours of work may be spread over a seven-day roster with some early mornings and late evenings required.   

This position offers a competitive remuneration package/hourly rate and six (6) weeks' annual leave. All terms and conditions are as per the Shire of Ashburton Enterprise Agreement 2017.
