Salary: $126,859 – $137,887 + superannuation

How would you like to be part of a Project Management Office who are dedicated on delivering programs of work that support one of Queensland’s largest council territories?

Central Highlands Regional Council is committed on delivering value to its community. As a result, we are looking for a highly experienced Project Manager to oversee and coordinate the facilities capital works programs to achieve council’s strategic asset management plans.

Your expertise and ability to consult on facilities-based capital projects will be highly regarded. Working with us, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate and advise asset owners on strategic direction and planning for future works
  • Coordinate the planning, design and construction of outsourced and in-house building and facility projects in line with legislative requirements and governance frameworks
  • Analyse and research project feasibility studies and associated project lifecycle costs to develop specialised business cases
  • Establish, build, and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external parties
  • Contribute to a positive, safe, and effective working environment and culture

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess:

  • A proven ability to lead and oversee multiple projects within a large organisation, ideally within local or state government
  • Extensive experience in contract management and project delivery for facilities assets
  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, or an equivalent field, and/or Project Management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present information to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
